# Staking

Land owners will earn special $ISLAND tokens by staking their NFT Islands. The $ISLAND tokens will then be our metaverse currency to:

* Buy special minecraft items like constructions, yachts, helicopters, planes, airport for your island or ingame items like cool weapons that will give you advantages in certain games.
* Hire an island builder to make it shine and pay with $ISLAND tokens
* Buy a special NFT skin (Minecraft Avatars) with your $ISLAND tokens
* and much more
